If a close female friend or relative of yours is getting married, the chances are that they’re going to have a hen party, or even a hen weekend to celebrate their upcoming nuptials. So if you’ve been invited to a hen party, or maybe even been given the task of organising it for the bride-to-be, here are some ideas for a girls’ night or weekend that none of you will ever forget.
Go Extreme
Hen Parties don’t have to mean excessive drinking and heavy partying, more and more women are choosing to do something different in the run up to their big day, such as extreme sporting events, like quad biking, rock climbing and kayaking. Many outdoor sports centres offer special prices for groups, so have a look around see what’s available near you, or further afield if you want to travel.
Go Traditional
As previously mentioned, hen parties have long been associated with a night drinking, dancing and debauchery, and if this suits you and your friends, then there’s no reason why you can’t do this. But consider going to see a gig, a film or even a play before hand, to break up the night and make it seem a little bit different.
Go Luxurious
If you don’t want to go out anywhere, and don’t really don’t fancy doing anything strenuous or extreme, then perhaps
spa days would be the best option for you. You could choose to be pampered, massaged, waxed and completely looked after at a top spa in the country, surrounded by all your friends. And once you’ve had a day or even a weekend at the spa, what you get up to after is entirely up to you.
